The First Chapter Meeting is designed exactly for that. We visit your space, have a relaxed conversation about how you use it, and present a written reflection with references. Many clients find the direction becomes clearer through that process, without any pressure to commit to a larger scope yet.

Not necessarily. If you already have someone you trust, we're happy to work with them. Our Closing Chapter Support service includes contractor coordination and site oversight, so we can help source and manage the right people for your project if needed.

The Full Story Design phase runs 6–10 weeks for residential spaces. If you add Closing Chapter Support — the implementation phase — that adds another 8–14 weeks depending on scope and contractor availability. We share a timeline at the outset and keep you updated throughout.

Yes. If you proceed with Full Story Design after the First Chapter Meeting, the MYR 440 is credited toward the design fee. The meeting is a real service in its own right, but we want it to feel like a natural starting point, not a separate hurdle.

Our services suit intimate commercial spaces — small offices, personal studios, boutique environments — where the character of the space matters as much as its function. Large-scale commercial fit-outs are outside our current scope, but we're happy to talk through what your project involves.

Any information you share with us — images, plans, personal details — stays within the project. We don't use client work in our portfolio without explicit permission, and we handle all personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
